Qupid is stuck in a landfill of fleeting portraits, discarded pixels, and bytes. A keen observer of the intense longing for intimacy and makeshift disguises, she reflects fleeting moments from strangers being vulnerable on the app.

Originating from the plastic wasteland of Orange County, Qupid navigates the complex emotions held around our primal need for connection. With increasingly awkward pathways to intimacy, she unveils a comedy of errors with strangers mimicking peacocks—poorly—and getting away with it. She invites you to walk through her disposed pile of potential suitors, to witness the disorienting nature of such disguises, and where it leaves us amused, confused, and perhaps in a roundabout for good.
